Starting Rate of Pay: Meets Minimum Wage + SHARE OF TIPS (Check current minimum wage rates here)
Responsible for washing up, deep cleaning, basic food preparation and generally assisting the chefs with all aspects of running a busy kitchen. Hours strongly evenings and weekends for part time, full time hours also include some days.
The role sometimes includes general assistance about the whole establishment, e.g. carrying laundry, stacking logs, sweeping decking, generally moving and helping where required.
Experience in a commercial catering environment will put you in good standing, however experience is not essential, this role is very hands on and very physical so experience in any manual position or just a good level of cleanliness standards and being physically fit will help.
