Bookings being taken now! But What Can You Book? And Should You Commit? Here are the answers…


CHRISTMAS DAY AND BOXING DAY

We are taking bookings right now, and for the moment we have left our table layout exactly as it is today, so it means we have very limited availability and have a maximum table size of six. So yes, if you do want to eat out this year you should book straight away!

We are taking a £10 per person deposit for these days, obviously should anything change locally meaning we cannot fulfil that booking (but we have our fingers and toes crossed) the deposit will be 100% refundable.

FESTIVE CELEBRATION MENUS (Served 27th November to 24th December)

If your booking is for 6 people or less yes we can take your booking right now - there is no deposit and no preorder so absoloutely nothing to lose!

If your booking is for 7 people or more what can we tell you? We just don't know! As things stand if nothing changes neither our internal policy or the law cannot allow the booking. But who knows what the situation will be by then? Even if the law has changed we will be making our own policy to ensure the safety of all of our guests (not just that party). So what to do? Make a provisional booking anyway! That way we will have all your details, can give you first refusal on the table and obviously will not take a deposit until we confirm that we will be able to fulfil the booking safely and legally, and if you change your mind in the meantime, just cancel it without penalty.

Allergen + Dietary Information - If you have an allergy or intolerance to any foodstuff please let the team know when ordering or pre-ordering. Our Christmas Day and Boxing Day menus do not cater for all allergies or dietary requirements, however please speak to a Christmas Coordinator and we will do our best to accommodate.

For your general guidance dishes on this menu are marked V (Vegetarian), VE (Vegan), G (Contains Gluten), D (Contains Dairy), N (Contains Nuts) however as all our food is freshly made in house please state your allergy when ordering. Some dishes are also labelled GFO (Gluten Free option available) + VEO (Vegan option available) where small changes can be made. The team has a full list of all menu items and their key allergen ingredients available upon request, however all of our food is prepared in a kitchen where all of the key allergens, fish and meat are used. So while we do know what ingredients go into our food, we cannot guarantee any dish is 100% free from any allergen or foodstuff. We do however take measures to ensure cross contamination is avoided as far as possible. All weights stated are approximate uncooked weights. Fish may contain traces of bones, game may contain traces of shot.

FESTIVE CELEBRATION + LIGHTER LUNCH BOOKINGS

Tables of 6 or less can be booked on this website, please state “FESTIVE MENU” in the special requests box and then just turn up, no deposit or preorder necessary.

Tables of over 7

Until the law and our own bookings policy change we cannot guarantee to fulfil any booking of 7 or more people. Even if the law changes we will first review the maximum table size that we can deliver safely and legally for all guests (not just that particular party). At this point we can only strongly advise you make an enquiry/provisional booking with us and we can then review at a later stage.
